Durham University’s Employee Data Compromised In Portal Hack, Louisiana State University Suffers Phishing Attack
The Louisiana State University (LSU) warned its students, faculty, and employees of a series of phishing emails that had compromised more than 200 accounts. The phishing emails seemed to be replies to a previous conversation from a lsu.edu email address and urged recipients to click a malicious link to read the full message. LSU advised recipients to avoid clicking on the link and instead report the emails to IT security.
