Federal Group, a privately-owned family company that operates casino, tourism, and retail assets in Tasmania, Australia, suffered a data breach after hackers compromised a third-party email distribution service and disseminated spam emails to customers.
Federal Group, a privately-owned family company that operates casino, tourism, and retail assets in Tasmania, Australia, suffered a data breach after hackers compromised a third-party email distribution service and disseminated spam emails to customers. Hackers accessed names, email addresses, physical addresses, and telephone numbers of customers. Federal Group urged customers to delete the emails without opening them. Investigations are ongoing.
