Russian Hackers Send Brexit-Themed Emails That Download Two Spyware

Russian hacker group Fancy Bear, also known as Sofacy and APT28, has been sending Brexit-themed phishing emails with a macros-laden document that promised information about the recent Brexit negotiations between the UK and the EU.
Russian hacker group Fancy Bear, also known as Sofacy and APT28, has been sending Brexit-themed phishing emails with a macros-laden document that promised information about the recent Brexit negotiations between the UK and the EU. When recipients enabled the macros, they downloaded two kinds of spyware, one to understand what programmes were running on the infected computers and another to steal information. One of the emails’ targets was the Polish government.
