Irish Statutory Health Organisation Exposes Email Addresses Of Job Applicants

The Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC), an independent statutory health organisation in Ireland, erroneously exposed the email addresses of 200 job applicants in an email to inform them that their applications had been unsuccessful.

The Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC), an independent statutory health organisation in Ireland, erroneously exposed the email addresses of 200 job applicants in an email to inform them that their applications had been unsuccessful. PHECC has lodged a data breach notification with the Data Protection Commissioner and is currently reviewing its policies and procedures to avoid committing the same error in the future.
