University Warns Student About Mass Email Hacker

The Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU) has warned its staff and students that an ongoing phishing campaign is collecting email credentials to take over accounts for malicious purposes.

The Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU) has warned its staff and students that an ongoing phishing campaign is collecting email credentials to take over accounts for malicious purposes. The phishing emails contain an attachment or a link to a fake login page to harvest user's credentials. Users who have opened the attachment or provided login credential are advised to immediately change their password and refrain from using the email services until further notice.
