Online Casino Group leaves ElasticSearch Database Open

An online casino group has inadvertently leaked information on 108 million bets, which included users’ personally identifiable information, IP addresses, browser and OS details.
An online casino group has inadvertently leaked information on 108 million bets, which included users’ personally identifiable information, IP addresses, browser and OS details. The company has hosted the data at ElasticSearch cloud storage but failed to secure its server with a password. It is not known how long the database has been exposed or if it has been downloaded by a third-party, but the company has since secured the database to avoid potential abuse.
