Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs websites in several countries were inaccessible following rising tensions in the northern Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistani officials blamed India hackers for bringing down its websites in the Netherlands, Australia, Britain, and Saudi Arabia, to deny information dissemination about increasing violence targeting Muslims in the contested region. Hard-line Hindu groups have targeted Muslim Kashmiris after a suicide bombing attack in Pulwama killed 44 Indian border security personnel.
