Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen, Washington, US was hit with a ransomware attack that encrypted its patient database management system. The ransomware attack did not affect patient care as the hospital was able to swiftly recover most of the affected database from backup. The hospital also believed that no sensitive data such as personally identifiable information, insurance details, and medical diagnosis were exfiltrated.
