A major restaurant chain in the US has disclosed a security incident involving one of its payment processing systems.

A major restaurant chain in the US, Krystal, has disclosed a security incident involving one of its payment processing systems and affecting probably two-third of its outlets between July and September 2019. Krystal, which has 342 outlets in the US, is still trying to determine the number of customers affected in the incident as well as the type of payment information exposed. The company has set up a web-based lookup tool to allow customers to search for restaurant locations that were affected by the security incident.
