A ransomware attack at sportswear giant, Boardriders, forced the company to shut down its entire computing systems after multiple infections were discovered at several regional offices around the world. The IT disruptions also affected Boardriders’ subsidiaries which included popular brands such as QuikSilver, Billabong, ROXY and DC Shoes. Boardriders has restored the affected servers but the incident has already disrupted the delivery schedule for orders made prior to the incident due to delay in shipping arrangements.
