Suspected cybercriminals from Turkey have stolen huge amounts of cash in the Indian state of Tripura by installing skimmers at ATMs to obtain card details and cloning cards to make unauthorised withdrawal. Over 60 customers of different banks in Tripura, including the State Bank of India, were affected. The cybercriminals are believed to have perpetrated the same act in the State of Assam.
