Mr Lee Fook Sun is the founding Chairman of Ensign InfoSecurity, where he played an instrumental role in steering the company towards building Singapore’s national cyber capabilities and talent pipeline. Under his leadership, Ensign has grown into one of Asia’s foremost cybersecurity firms.

Mr. Lee is also the Deputy Chairman of SMRT Corporation Ltd as well as Deputy Chairman of SMRT Trains Ltd. and SMRT TEL Pte. Ltd. He has extensive experience in strategic leadership and governance, and has been pivotal in guiding SMRT to achieve a high standard of reliability in its rail services.

Mr. Lee's extensive career includes serving as Deputy CEO of Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd in 2014, a role he held concurrently with President of Defence Business for the ST Engineering Group. He joined Singapore Technologies Electronics Limited in 2000 and served as the President of ST Electronics from 2009 to 2016, contributing significantly to the company's growth and success.

Before his corporate tenure, Mr. Lee held key positions in the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and the Singapore Armed Forces. He served in the MINDEF as Director of Joint Intelligence Directorate from 1996 to 2000 and held various key positions such as the Director of Military Security Department and Assistant Chief of General Staff (Logistics). Notably, he retired from active military service with the rank of Brigadier-General.

In 2023, Mr. Lee was honored with the Meritorious Service Medal for his significant contributions to Singapore’s security and infrastructure development. Throughout his career, he has also received Public Administration Medals (Military) in the Gold and Silver categories, and the SAF Long Service & Good Conduct Medal (22 years) for his exemplary service in the Singapore Armed Forces.

Mr. Lee earned his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and a Master of Arts (Engineering Science) from the University of Oxford (UK). He further honed his leadership skills through the Stanford University Executive Programme. In recognition of his contributions to the engineering profession and industry, Mr. Lee was conferred the Honorary Fellowship from the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations (AFEO).
